Adventure of the Seas is a revolutionary marvel of naval engineering. Enjoy first-time cruise features like a skating rink, a street fair and a rock-climbing wall - among others. How did we accommodate all of these innovative ideas? Simple. We built a bigger ship - the 138,000-ton, 3,114-guest Adventure of the Seas, part of the Voyager class of ships. Innovations on the Voyager class ships represent the highest space-per-guest ratio in the cruise market - and include enhanced staterooms, expanded dining options and exceptional recreational facilities. Adventure of the Seas sails the Southern Caribbean itinerary roundtrip from San Juan.

Get away to the deep southern Caribbean and enjoy the warmth of the deep tropics while your friends are shivering back home. You’ll enjoy Oranjestad, Aruba and Williamstad, Curacao with their wonderful Dutch heritage and friendly delightful people. Both are also know for their great duty-free shopping, so you really will be getting your holiday shopping done too. Two “at sea” days give you chance to explore all the fun of this true resort at sea.

Royal Caribbean’s Empress of the Seas, formerly Nordic Empress, returns with a new look, a new name and a brand new berth to call home.
Increased dining options are in high demand among cruisers, and Empress of the Seas features an elegant new specialty restaurant, Portofino, in addition to an upgraded Windjammer Café and refurbished main dining room. Guests also can enjoy specialty espresso drinks from Seattle’s Best Coffee® or 16 different flavors from Ben & Jerry’s® at the combined Latte’tudes coffee bar and ice cream scoop shop.

Be one of the first to experience the recent stem-to-stern renovation of Monarch of the Seas. Departing from L.A. year-round, this remarkable 2,744-guest cruise ship sets sail for the ultimate Baja cruise vacation. In addition to the spectacular on-shore excitement, you’ll enjoy Monarch’s state-of-the-art features, like the new, oversized spa and fitness center, specialty Asian-fusion cuisine at Jade, a make-your-own pizzeria, and, of course, Royal Caribbean’s signature rock-climbing wall.

Freedom of the Seas — Royal Caribbean’s most innovative ship yet — is set to launch in June 2006. Royal Caribbean isn’t revealing all of the spectacular features of their new ship, but you can some new surprises in addition to twists on favorites like the rock-climbing wall and Royal Promenade.

The first new-to-the-industry feature is a wave machine you can actually surf called the Flowrider, located on the upper deck. Freedom of the Seas will also have 3 pool “regions” while Royal Caribbean’s largest ships to date have had only 2. The largest and certainly most likely to be a hit with the kids is the H2O zone, an onboard water park. Water spraying multi-colored sculptures, loops and tunnels will keep the family having fun all day. At night, a spectacular lighting system will make it beautiful and entertaining.

Freedom of the Seas will also have a sports pool for, water polo, water basketball and water volleyball, plus lap swimming. The solarium pool, always a favorite, will make water fun possible in any kind of weather.

Royal Caribbean is building a wider variety of family friendly cabins, with alcoves with bunk beds for the kids, and some cabin layouts featuring a separate kids bathroom.

Royal Caribbean is not done revealing all the features of this new ship, so we will keep you posted as new information becomes available.
